COBHAMS ASUQUO

It was amazing as Cobhams was led to his seat on the interview stage...the same man who has been responsible for almost all the greatest Nigerian artistes of recent years, major adverts, and so on, wining him the number of awards he has had so far.

To hear him talk alone was a wonder. He spoke with great charm, fervour and focus. It was obvious that Cobhams knew what he was about. After talking about his background, he moved on to personal issues and beliefs. On his physical challenge, he said that the kind of vision he has is more than those who can actually see. This was obvious because throughout the interview, he used words that corresponded to sight and vision. He also did not mince words on his belief in God. He unambiguously attributed it all to the relationship he enjoyed with Him.

He thrilled the crowd with his finger-trumpeting, whistling and after the interview, two dazzling performances at the end of the show.  Those who wondered how this ‘blind man’ did it all were still scratching their heads because there was no explaining to the phenomenon.
