Yinka Ayefele

As Yinka Ayefele rolled out on stage, the atmosphere was awe filled. It was almost unbelievable as he appeared and wheeled over to his place beside jazzyb. Right from his introduction as a singer, presenter, family man as well as a business man, he had the audience screaming.

He spoke about how things were before his accident and took time to explain the state he was in with his spinal cord injury. He kept speaking to himself, “you shall live and you shall not die.” For him, living had meaning, regardless of his condition. After he got out of the hospital, his career as a singer kicked off. Presently, 4 states in the USA are fighting over themselves to give him a citizenship, to show the level that his career has taken him to.

As a musician, he has apparently reached out to so many people with a message of perseverance and hope. He also stated clearly that he tries to maintain a very cordial relationship with people around him, even his employees. Humility and persistence are key values for him and he is a business man to the core. He let the house in on recent developments as regards the studio he has put together.

Finally, Yinka brought the entire house down with a dazzling performance of some of his hit songs.
