Shola Allyson Obaniyi

This slim and pretty singer with a very unique voice came on the show. She was regally dressed and quite captivating.

When she said that her childhood and teenage years were not fun because of issues with her family, it sounded shocking to the audience. She asserted that she persevered because she knew she had a gift.

She talked about her style of music which is consistently Yoruba and unapologetically so. She advised that it is best to stay with one’s calling (regardless of whether it is popular or not) and gave tips on how to improve on skills.  She was an inspiration.
