Derenle Edun

Someone flew into the show in a flurry of colours toward the end of the programme. Derenle makes fashion statements everywhere he goes and he did it again at DCT.

He told the audience that he just got into the country from South Africa and explained that his hair concept was his, as was his costume. He said that he had always loved to stand out. He started out as a child on kidivision 101, an NTA network programme in the ‘90s but spent time teaching and doing other things later to make ends meet. He spoke of his love for his family and how they inspire him.

As a person, he said he believes in living a good life and being accountable. He insisted that people should believe in themselves. The audience was thrilled for every second that he was around not only because of his fashion, but also the way he connected to them and made them laugh.
