Walked into the hall with roar and thunder from the audience and gallantly took up the hotseat in a lovely black long sleeve, bishop neck treaded in yellow on a black baggy jean floated on a flat footed black Tekki.

Introduced as Sola (her first name), Weird Mc could not but pour out the pains of having to struggle with her parents who are disciplinarians and wanted their daughter to be nobody but a lawyer, ‘Desola as fondly called spoke of her law school days at OSU now known as Olabisi Onabanjo University where she was studying law before pulling out to go after her passion in music, going through the pain of almost being disowned by her dad to the almost regular family meetings focused on nobody else but ‘Desola. Facing all this challenge, Weird Mc traveled out of Nigeria to read Music in the United Kingdom after all said and done.

Today she has proven all her critics wrong home and abroad as she emerged to be the first female African rap artiste, she earned the respect of late Fela Anikulapo Kuti as he told her that she is the first person to perfectly fuse Afro with Hiphop.

Weird Mc rocked the entire atmosphere with her classic dance styles and energetic performance after answering questions from the audience. She gave out her new released album with her autograph.

Desola or Weird Mc was all bubbly and thrilled the audience so much that they couldn’t but scream.
